I believe at the time of Randy's passing he lived on the 300 block of Washington Street, Pocatello, ID. This was just down the street from where he grew up.
I found the obituary in the Idaho State Journal for Randy Olsen. He passed away August 29, 2003 from a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was drafted in the United States Army in 1967. He trained as a wheel vehicle mechanic and deployed to a holding company in Fort Lewis, Washington. De-escalation of troop involvement prevented him from transfer to Vietnam and spent the remember of his military service in the 2st Army band. And was honorably discharged from the Army in 1971.

Right after we graduated from high school Randy and I went on a road trip, los Vegas, Tijuana, phonex, arizona, then home.fun trip, now looking back, wonder why we lived through it.
