I believe she was killed in a car accident with her brother David (HHS1965) January 2. 1969.  Although I am not positive I believe the car accident happened in Pocatello.  I believe she is buried in Pocatello.

My memory is she and her brother and another person were on their way back from Blackfoot and hit black ice. It was a real tragedy!

It was very tragic, as something like this that is totally unexpected always is.  I was on break from ISU and awaiting the birth of our daughter.  My Mother and I attended the funeral.  This was the second loss of someone dear to me in just two months.  Carla Hogg, who was a year younger than us, was injured in a car accident and died on my sister's birthday, November 2, 1968.  We grew up with the Hogg's and considered them family.  Carl Hogg continued to visit my Mother until she passed away.  Susan was one of the five Susan's I went to school with, and if any of you ever knew me as Bonnie, it was because all of those Susan's were in my same 4th grade class, but I was the only one whose middle name was Susan, so I went by my first name, Bonnie, that year.  Susan was a delightful person, someone you could always call your friend.  The world is a sadder place when someone with so much potential is taken away so young!

I will not forget this tragic accident.  I still have the newspaper clipping.  Her brother David and Shari Goff also passed in the same accident.  I believe David just returned home from an LDS Mission.  We all belonged to LDSSA at ISU.
