Connie was the SWEETEST girl!  I don't think she or her cousin, Linda, woud hurt a fly!  I remember the three of us hiking up the moutainside on Pocatello Creek Road. Lizards were at a Premium then, though NOW, I can't tell WHY!  Connie was so easy going.  I really miss her, even though I rarely saw her after we graduated.

I knew Connie very well, and Linda too, and considered both my friends. I am very saddened to hear that she has passed away. I will always remember how nice she was to me. As I think back my memory forcuses on a church activity we had up Pocatello Creek at her family's place. Fun times.

I must take my hat off and nod my head to Connie. I will mention a few things I know. She was genuine and gentle.  I was twitterpated daily.  I have been stirred by her blue-eyed wink and warmed by her smile and giggle.

Since graduation I ....

I have been Glenn's wife  (40 years and 85 days). Funny, I married a boy I knew of in kindergarten, junior high and highschool. Glenn has been my husband but also my best friend. I am his best friend too. I have been a mother of 5 beautiful children (1 daughter and 4 sons). and a grandmother to 5 boys and 3 girls.  They have brought great joy into our lives.

I studied at Idaho State in elementary education with emphasis in history and physchology. I taught children all my adult life. I taught migrant children for the head start for over 20 years. I got a better understanding of other cultures and a greater appreciation of my own culture.

I lived and worked on two  islands, a summer on Kodiak Is., Aleutian Is. and over 3 years on Kwajalein. Marshall Is.

I was in many leadership positions in the Cubscouts over a 28 year period. I was presented the Award of Merit.

I have traveled much.  I have been to 37 ststes, 13 national park, 6 European countries, Canada and Mexico. I used information gained to supplement history to teach class modules about states, parks and countries.

I love music and joined many choirs that gave many performances. We went to many concerts, a few dances but watched many concerts together on PBS.

I enjoy reading and read many books.
